A.M. Skincare Routine – February 2018
My current morning skincare routine – February 2018
Step 1 – Cleanse
NeoStrata Skin Resurfacing Duo – This microdermabrasion kit is in my Hall of Fame: Exfoliators. Every couple of days, I begin my morning routine with a good scrub especially if I’m using a potent retinol at night. This product combines a scrub and an AHA so it is likely too strong for sensitive skin. Unfortunately, it’s only available in Canada at the moment.
Step 2 – Serum
Regenica Rejuvenating Dual Serum – Quality growth factor serums are expensive. This one is shockingly expensive and yet didn’t blow me away. I doubt I’ll buy this one again only because I prefer others such as SkinMedic TNS or iS Clinical. It gets great reviews. Available at Premiere Look if you want to try it out.
Step 3 – Eye Cream
Natura Bisse The Cure Sheer Eye – A very nice eye cream. It de-puffs and it’s tinted. Contains caffeine, peptides and hyaluronic acid. It’s on the more expensive side but I can say that the bottle will last you at least six months. Available online.
Step 4 – Moisturizer
The True Cream Aqua Bomb by BELIF – This comes in a gel formulation and a cream. This one is the gel. I enjoyed using both but for my dry skin, I prefer the cream. Available at Sephora.
Step 5 – Protect
Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 by Dr. Jart+ – I’ve been using this redness corrector as my SPF this winter. It’s not the best under make-up so I would use it on no-make-up days as a tinted moisturizer/SPF base. It goes on pale green in color and changes to a light beige tone. Available at Sephora.
