Empties: Hits & Misses
Botanical Kinetics Exfoliant by AVEDA: A very nice toner. It exfoliates with salicylic acid for a smoother and clearer complexion. Available at Aveda salons everywhere. They’ve been selling this product for many years.
Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment by GlamGlow: As I said in my June Favorites post, “Wow!” This is an awesome mask and I’ve already ordered a new one. Available at Sephora. Cult!
Neutrogena Age Shield Face Lotion Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF: You can’t go wrong with Neutrogena high SPF sunscreens. I love, love them and have several going at once. Available at drugstores or online.
Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Cream by Kiehl’s: Kiehl’s is one of my all time favorite brands. I didn’t notice much wrinkle reducing with this small sample of course but it was a wonderful moisturizer and I would definitely try out the full size. Available at Kiehl’s stores and Nordstrom.
Jelly Aquarysta by ASTALIFT: If I could swim in a vat of this stuff I would. This is an incredible product with an equally incredible story behind it. You can read my review here. ASTALIFT is the premium skincare line from Fuji Film Labs. This is their premier product and I loved it. My skin looked amazing when I was using this. It’s expensive but it goes a long way. It can be hard to locate. I used to buy from feelunique.com but they no longer carry it. Here’s another option.
Rimmel Lash Accelerator: Love this mascara. It lengthens more than thickens. Available at drugstores.
Alpha Beta Peel by Dr. Dennis Gross: I’ve gone through three sets of these over the last few years. This is a fabulous home peel. Available at Sephora.
Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter: Yum! Just go and smell this and you’ll be sold. Available at Ulta.
Indeed Laboratories Hydraluron Moisture Serum: A wonderful hydrating serum that used to be very difficult to find in the US but is now sold at Walgreens! I’m on my second tube and use this serum every morning.
IMEDEEN Hair & Nails: I read rave reviews on these supplements but they didn’t work for me at all. I was very disappointed!
Diorshow Maximizer Lash Primer Serum: I thought this was a really terrible product. The Clinique lash primer is much better in my opinion.
Fruit Pigmented Mascara by 100% Pure: Equally awful was this fruit pigmented mascara. I hated the formula and the smell.
I found this brass mouse at a thrift shop a month or so ago. They had three or four at the time and I went back to buy him a friend so now I have a pair.
Vintage nativity pieces always catch my eye. This one is of the Italian variety; my favorite.
