Empties: Hits & Misses

The Hits!

skin resurfacing cleanser by dermalogica: One of my all time favorite cleansers.  Loaded with lactic acid, it’s one of the best exfoliating cleansers I’ve tried.  It has a slight tingling sensation that always makes me feel like it’s working.  Available at Sephora, Ulta or online.

2Sexy Voluptous Volume Hairspray: Love this hairspray!  It’s lightweight enough to use as a booster by spraying a little into your roots and it lasts all day.  Available online, in drugstores or Ulta.

EUDERMINE Revitalizing Essence by Shiseido: Saving the best Hit for last.  This is my all time favorite toner and a cult classic.  Shiseido calls it a ‘softener’ and they’ve been making it since 1897!  It smells like flowers.  I apply it with my hands and let my skin drink it up.  They seem to keep the ingredients a secret but it’s divine!  Available in department stores or online.

The Misses 🙁

Shine by Bumble & Bumble: As much as I love Bumble and Bumble, I did not care for this shine spray.  I didn’t like the greasy texture and simply didn’t work on my hair.

Eyeline FM by Inglot: I’m also a huge fan of Inglot cosmetics but didn’t care for this particular eyeliner.  The pigmentation was poor and the consistency was too dry and dragged across my eyelid.  I gave this to my sister hoping she’d have better luck.

Pixi Lash Booster mascara: Nothing to rave about with this mascara from Pixi.  It’s fine but there are so many great ones on the market.
