Empties: Hits & Misses
Fortunately another month of Hits in the products I’ve used up. I really liked all of these products.
Batiste Dry Shampoo in Dark Brown: My all time favorite dry shampoo. This was my 6th or 7th can and I’ve bought a new one already. I always have this on hand. Available at drugstores and Ulta.
Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deeeeep Conditioner: My 10th bottle of 3 Minute Miracle at least. I’ve been using this for years and go through them constantly. An incredible bargain at $3.50! Fabulous product. Available at Target and drugstores.
Darphin Jasmine Aromatic Care Facial Oil: Darphin’s Essential Oil Elixirs are pure heaven and my skin drinks it up. I think of facial oils as medicine for my face. If my skin starts to look dull and dry, I apply a layer of this and go to sleep. My skin looks supple and alive in the morning. Created from 100% natural ingredients. This one contains jasmine, apple, date, ylang- ylang, rosewood, and raspberry. Like I said, heaven. Darphin is an expensive French skincare line. You can buy from their website with free shipping and Amazon has many Darphin products at a discount.
Orofluido Beauty Elixir: I used up this sample of hair oil by Orofluido. It’s exquisite. Works great on damp or dry hair to smooth fly aways, add shine, and nourish the ends. I’ll definitely buy a full size once I use up my other hair oils. Available at Ulta and Amazon.
Chantacaille Future Skin Gel Foundation: I absolutely loved this foundation. It’s very sheer so I’d compare it to a tinted moisturizer. I love the gel consistency and texture. It’s easy to apply and blend. I had the shade Alabaster. Available at Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus.
Moisture Replenishing Day Cream by Jurlique: I like this ultra rich moisturizer but I had to use it as a night cream because it’s incredibly thick in texture. It contains avocado oil, safflower oil, shea butter, and beeswax. Jurlique is an environmentally friendly and cruelty free Australian cosmetic company. You can buy some discounted products on Amazon or choose from the entire range here.
CLIV Snail Recover Healer: I enjoyed these samples of snail based cream that I got from the Korean beauty store. I used them at night and it left my skin feeling supple in the morning. I would buy the full size. Available online here.
AHC Collagen Serum: I also liked this serum from the same Korean beauty store. The lady was very kind and gave me about 15 packets so I was able to get a pretty good sense for whether or not I liked it. It contains collagen and hyaluronic acid. Buy online here.
Argan Oil 7 Moisture Healing Mask by Nelson J Beverly Hills: I’m a sucker for hair masks and Argan oil in particular. My hair felt super soft after using this and I loved the Rosemary Mint scent. I had never heard of the brand before. I think it’s too expensive but you can buy it from their website if you’re interested.
