If your skin is dry as a desert as is mine, you may want to check out a few of my after shower body care heroes.
I’m on about my fifth can of Vaseline Spray Moisturizer. I’ve used all three varieties; cocoa butter, total moisture, and this aloe version. They are easy to use, super moisturizing, and very affordable. Available at drugstores.
Goe Oil by Jao is pure luxury. It’s on the expensive side but you’ll relish every use. It contains twenty-eight plant, fruit, and flower oils and butters. Jao is based in Pennsylvania. I encourage you to read more about the founder and brand here.
Bio-Oil is described as “..used for Scars, Stretch Marks, Uneven Skin Tone, Aging Skin, Dehydrated Skin, after-sun treatment, and bath oil.” I just know that when I use this after a shower, my skin is baby soft all day. A fabulous product found at most drugstores.
Ameliorate Transforming Body Cream is a recent discovery. Not only does it contain rich oils and butters that are deeply moisturizing, but it also contains Lactic Acid and Alpha Hydroxy Acid to exfoliate and treat crepey and bumpy skin. The entire Ameliorate range is fantastic. Check it out here.
Oilatum Cream is great for eczema, dermatitis, or dry, sensitive skin. It’s fragrance-free and gentle. They also make a bath and body range for children and babies. Available online.
