Makeup Favorites: September 2018

My makeup routine of the past month including some new discoveries and old favorites.

Wet n Wild Photofocus Foundation – A favorite drugstore foundation of mine. It’s light to medium coverage. I use the shade, Soft Ivory. Available at Ulta.

Tarte Undereye Corrector – I love peachy cream corrector concealers. I’m on my second pot of this one. It’s not too heavy under the eyes, counters my undereye darkness and brightens. I use the shade Light-Medium. Available at Tarte.

By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Powder – I’ve been keeping it all in place on these hot days with this very finely milled powder. It’s translucent and doesn’t settle into creases. Available at SpaceNK.

Bobby Brown Cream Shadow Stick in Bark – I love this dirty chocolate brown color. I wear it on its own for quick makeup days or as a base for shadows. Available at Bobby Brown counters.

MAGNIF’EYES SPICE EDITION by Rimmel – This palette is SO GOOD. Highly pigmented, easy to blend shadows and the price is unbeatable. Available at the drugstore.

Urban Decay 24/7 Pencil in Stash – This shimmery silver/green shade puts me in the mood for fall. 24/7 pencils have been faves for years. They last all day and I love the range’s unique shade options. Available at Urban Decay counters.

NYX Wonder Stick Contour & Highlighter – I love, love this creamy contour/highlighter duo. I use the lightest shade, Light/Medium. The contour is the perfect cool toned (not orange) shade for me and the highlight is void of shimmer and just gives a lit from within highlight. Available at NYX.

ModelCo Blush in Cosmopolitan – A pinky coral shade. What’s not to like. Available online.

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer – For us pale girls, this is an incredible bronzer. It has a silky smooth texture and smells like suntan lotion. I use the shade, Bronzer. Available at drugstores.

Eyebrow Expert Kit by KIKO – I love this compact kit that includes two shadows and a wax. I don’t use the little tools but love the powder. Available at KIKO.

Benefit Eyebrow Brush & Spoolie – I prefer this stiff brush to use with eyebrow powders. Available at Benefit counters.

Lash Paradise by L’Oreal – A fantastic drugstore mascara. I love the fat, fluffy brush that gives your lashes the same result. Available everywhere.

BRTC Jasmine Waterful Balm – This is a Korean skincare product that has multi purposes; hydrate, highlight, soothe. I keep it next to the sink and use it as a lip balm every morning. Available online.

Clinique Lipstick in Poppy Pop – A very pretty and bright coral red shade. Available at Clinique counters.

Brick-O-La by MAC – One of my all-time subtle red shades. I’ve used this shade for years. Available at MAC.
