My Sephora VIB Sale Recommendations

Sephora has two sales a year for their loyalty club customers (Beauty Insiders and VIB’s), one in the spring and one in the fall.  VIB and VIB Rouge receive a 20% discount and Beauty Insiders receive a 15% discount.  Loyalty customers know which category they are in based on how much they spend throughout the year.  If you are new to the program, you can still sign up online and receive a 15% discount as a Beauty Insider.

The sale dates are as follows.

November 2-5 ROUGE ONLY – 20% off (online code: ROUGEBONUS)
November 9-12 VIB – 20% 0ff (online code: VIBBONUS)
November 16-19 BEAUTY INSIDER – 15% off (online code: BIBONUS)
*Dates and more info at Glamour.com.

Here are some of my recommendations for the sale.  I’ve focused on products that I can’t get on sale anywhere else.  I’m not going to include products sold at Ulta and Sephora for example because the list would be too long, and because Ulta has several 20% off sales throughout the year.  You can also buy some Sephora-sold, high-end products at CVS.com or other online retailers that offer regular discounts and offers.  Ulta just had a 20% off sale last week and I’m sure there will be more coming into the holidays.

These are some of my favorite products that I’ve repurchased myself and that I think are worth picking up during the sale.

Drunk Elephant Vitamin C
Two products I love from Drunk Elephant.  C-Firma Day Serum, and Lala Retro Whipped Cream, one of my all-time favorite moisturizers.  It’s rich and creamy but not too heavy for daytime.  My skin drinks it in.

Tom Ford Lip Color

Tom Ford Lip Color – No one needs to spend $50 on a lipstick but this formulation is unmistakably lush.  There are so many beautiful shades that one would love to wear every single day.

Charlotte’s Magic Cream – Another favorite daytime moisturizer that works like a dream under makeup.  Charlotte Tilbury is a make-up artist and she created this concoction to use on clients.  It’s lovely but expensive.  I too would wait for a sale.

Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream – I have to include my favorite discovery of 2018.  I love this moisturizer, both day and night.  It’s appropriate for all skin types.

Dr. Dennis Gross Ferulic + Retinol Wrinkle Recovery Overnight Serum – One of my favorite serums.  I love the way my skin looks in the mornings when using this.

Kate Somerville is another great brand.  Her Goat Milk Cream moisturizer is in my Top 5.  It’s a dream.  ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment is excellent.  It’s green and smells like algae but I love the results.

Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser – An organic brand, Tata Harper has so many quality products in her range.  I love this cleanser in particular.

Two superhero products from Sunday Riley, sale or no sale.  Luna Sleeping Night Oil is an overnight retinol treatment that yields results.  Good Genes is a lactic acid exfoliating treatment which also yields great results.  I’ve repurchased both.

ko gen do

KOH GEN DO Aqua Foundation – I love this light-medium coverage hydrating foundation.

Dr. Lancer The Method: Polish – An incredible scrub for getting off the flaky bits.

OMOROVICZA
OMOROVICZA Thermal Cleansing Balm – This balm from Budapest has tiny black granules and is a dream to use.  It cost a pretty penny and I would only consider buying it on sale.

erborian bb cream

ERBORIAN BB Crème au Ginseng – A fantastic light-medium coverage BB cream with SPF20.  Looks beautiful on the skin on “no-make-up” days or as a regular base.

SHISEIDO Facial Cotton

SHISEIDO Facial Cotton – Buy these and you’ll never go back to whatever you’re using now to remove eye makeup or apply toner.  You wouldn’t waste these on nail polish.  Buy the drugstore version for that purpose.  These cotton pads are super soft and gentle.

Huda Beauty Palette
Huda Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palettes – I love the formulation and shade ranges.  So many to choose from.

Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick – Never did I think a stick foundation would work for me but this is the one I grab when I have an event or important meeting and need a reliable outcome.

Some of the things I’m thinking about picking up are the Sunday Riley Juno Oil, Josie Maran Argan Oil Foundation, Becca Undereye Primer, and Laneige Lip Mask.
