Product Review: Glycolic Facial Pads

NIP + FAB Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Facial Pads

What it claims to do?
“Radiance-boosting pads, soaked in exfoliating glycolic acid (2.8%) retexture + resurface skin whilst witch hazel helps to tone. This moisturising formula with hyaluronic acid + soothing blue daisy helps to reveal brighter + smoother looking skin.”

Do I agree?
Yes.  This pad is mild enough for daily use and it’s a good product for beginners to exfoliating pads or if you have sensitive skin.

How I use it?
At night usually.  I also use them on the backs of my hands.

Affordable, cruelty-free and available in drugstores or online.

Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Peel Pads

What it claims to do?
“A Peter Thomas Roth 20% proprietary complex of Glycolic, Salicylic, Lactic, Linolenic Acids, and Amino Acids, which are the building blocks of peptides. These, combined with powerful botanical extracts and antioxidants, help to reveal beautiful, clear, radiant, glowing skin. Designed to work alone to help exfoliate the skin for the superior glow of a professional facial peel, while also preparing the skin to allow Un-Wrinkle® and/or any treatment products to better absorb into the skin.  Helps to minimize the appearance of pores, clarify the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and uneven skin tone.”

Do I agree?
Yes!  Chocked full of key ingredients my skin looks and feels revitalized when I use these continually.  They are the best exfoliating pads I’ve come across thus far.

How I use it?
Nightly on my face, neck, and décolletage.

Available in stores or online. PTR doesn’t test formulations on animals but they do sell in China.  You can read their statement on testing here.
