Empties: Hits & Misses

There aren’t any “misses” in this round of Empties or Products I’ve used up.  That means money well spent! Sally Hansen Wax Strip Kit Brow/Face/Bikni: Fabulous little home waxing kit.  This works.  You may still need to tweeze a couple of stubborn hairs but this $6 kit is perfect between salon visits.  Pick it up at any drugstore or Ulta. Clarins Advanced Extra Firming Eye Contour Serum: I’ve been using

September Favorites

I’m still in Las Vegas and it’s still hot! Sebastian Trilliant Thermal Protection and Sparkle Complex Spray: I use a heat protectant every time I use a hot tool on my hair and rotate a few products.  The last couple of months, I’ve been using this one.  I doesn’t provide a ton of shine on me but it does give me some body and I like it as a heat

Empties: Hits & Misses

Fortunately another month of Hits in the products I’ve used up.  I really liked all of these products. Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deeeeep Conditioner: My 10th bottle of 3 Minute Miracle at

Product Review: got 2b POWDER’ful

For massive volume, go for got 2b POWDER’ful by Schwarzkopf.  I’ve gone through several of these little bottles.  It’s great on freshly washed hair for instantly grip and volume, 2nd day hair for lift, and for up-do’s too. Just sprinkle on your roots like a salt shaker and rub it in with your fingertips.  It has a slightly sticky texture.  It’s quite the performer!  Available at drugstores and Ulta.

July Favorites

This month turned me onto some new favorites as well as some old stand buys. Shiseido Facial Cotton: Hands down THE BEST cotton pads on the market.  Do your face a favor and get your hands on a packet of these.  They’re often sold out on the website and in stores.  Once you try them, you’ll see why they can’t keep them in stock.  Usually available where Shiseido is
