January Favorites! Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer: Absolutely love these. I’ve become too lazy to put on body lotion with my hands! I bought a 3 pack at Costco of this scent and have also tried the aloe version. Available at drugstores. Wonder Cloth: My favorite washcloth for removing all makeup. Great texture and doesn’t seem to stain even after removing jet black eye make-up. Available here. Nads Facial Wax
Vintage ceramic Christmas tree and ornaments December Favorites! ExfoliKate® Intensive Exfoliating Treatment by Kate Somerville: A wonderful exfoliant. Read my review from last month. Available at Sephora. Original Nipple Balm for Lips by Dr. Lipp: That’s right. Originally made as a nipple treatment for breastfeeding mothers. I love the deeply moisturizing texture. I use it at night. Available at SPACE.NK. Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector: One of the best lip
Much loved (and very worn) June Favorites! Pureology Pure Volume Shampoo: I absolutely love this shampoo and will definitely keep buying it. It’s taking me months to get through this giant bottle. It’s from the pink range for fine, color-treated hair and I love the way by hair styles after I use it. Pureology is also a vegan brand. Available in salons and Ulta. Ojon Dry Recovery Revitalizing Moisture Mist:
Another month of favorites and another addition to the vintage cookbook collection. The Delectable Past is a delightful cookbook of Old World and Early American recipes. To my favorites! Caviar Overnight Hair Rescue by Alterna: This super moisturizing hair mask does wonders for my hair. You massage it in before bed and wash it out in the morning for super soft hair. Available at Ulta and Sephora. Illamasqua blusher in
I’m happy to say that this round of Empties were mostly all Hits. Money well spent! HITS Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm by L’Oreal: A fantastic deep conditioner. Soy Tri-Wheat Leave In Conditioner by Healthy Sexy Hair: Another great hair product. I
I’ve been using these two products for over three months now and have a pretty good impression overall. Creamy Concealer Kit: I started out using this under my eyes as it claims to hide dark circles and brighten but I really had to blot it in and it sat in my fine lines. I’m sure it’s brilliant on younger skin. However, I do like it as a general concealer for
I’m a big fan of repurposing old things into my modern daily life. I love this Italian planter and silver vase. A little cleaning and polish goes a long way and always brings out the beauty under any dirt or tarnish.
Voluminous Butterfly Mascara by L’OREAL: It took me a couple of tries to master the wand but once I did, I got massive lashes. The regular Voluminous mascara has long been one of my favorites so I new that I would like the formulation. Give it a go! Available at drugstores or online. Found this cast iron statue of Ulysses S. Grant at an estate sale recently.
