June Favorites

Much loved (and very worn) June Favorites! Pureology Pure Volume Shampoo: I absolutely love this shampoo and will definitely keep buying it.  It’s taking me months to get through this giant bottle.  It’s from the pink range for fine, color-treated hair and I love the way by hair styles after I use it.  Pureology is also a vegan brand.  Available in salons and Ulta. Ojon Dry Recovery Revitalizing Moisture

Product Review: PMD Personal Microderm

Finally, we’re able to save a little money on microdermabrasion sessions at the salon with the PMD Personal Microderm.  I’ve been testing this out for three months now and only have good things to say.  If you’ve got some stubborn hyper pigmentation and/or scars, it’s well worth the $179.00 investment to add this to your overall treatment plan. The kit also comes with an attachment for use on the

Empties: Hits & Misses

I’m happy to say that this round of Empties were mostly all Hits.  Money well spent! HITS Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm by L’Oreal: A fantastic deep conditioner.  It really does what it claims to do.  My hair feels super soft and hydrated after using this.  It’s also a great buy, usually on offer at drugstores. Soy Tri-Wheat Leave In Conditioner by Healthy Sexy Hair: Another great hair product.  I

Empties: Hits & Misses

The Hits! skin resurfacing cleanser by dermalogica: One of my all time favorite cleansers.  Loaded with lactic acid, it’s one of the best exfoliating cleansers I’ve tried.  It has a slight tingling sensation that always makes me feel like it’s working.  Available at Sephora, Ulta or online. 2Sexy Voluptous Volume Hairspray: Love this hairspray!  It’s lightweight enough to use as a booster by spraying a little into your roots

Product Review: Clarins Beauty Flash Balm

I think I need to start a new Hall of Fame category on my blog just so I can put this product in it.  It’s amazing.  Clarins calls its Beauty Flash Balm an Instant Radiance Booster and that’s exactly what it is.  This immediately brightens my skin and makes me look a little more awake (or alive on some days).  I also like to use it if I’m going out

Everything’s Coming Up Roses!

I’m obsessed with all things Rose.  Here are some of my rose inspired favorites! Rosehip Seed Oil: Rosehip has been used as a facial/cosmetic oil for generations.  Mountain Rose Herbs offers this

Product Review: Skin&Co Roma

I received these two Skin&Co products in a sample box recently.  Mostly, I want to talk about the TRUFFLE THERAPY SERUM which is absolutely wonderful!  It smells wonderful and I noticed a positive effect on my skin almost immediately.  It’s expensive, $75 for 1oz. but I’d buy a full size tube if I came across it again.  Amazon has it at a discount.  Read more about its benefits and ingredients

March Favorites

I’m still in Winter mode although it’s technically Spring.  Here are some of my favorites this month. Inglot palette: I went to Inglot at the beginning of March and put together this little palette that I’ve worn most of the month.  I particular like this copper, bronze shade with a little dab of the brick red in the center of the eyelid.  The other two are a charcoal color
