The Crazy Pig

Crazy Pig Designs, 38 Short’s Gardens, London

On my last visit to London, one of the destinations on my list was Crazy Pig Designs to pick up a ring that I had pre-shopped online. Much like The Great Frog, Crazy Pig Designs has early rock and roll origins and makes highly crafted skull jewelry. I chose an incredible ring depicting a crawling skeleton. I appreciate the attention to detail that goes into their jewelry. This ring has a nice weight to it as well. I thought I would share a few pictures I took while I was there. I’m looking forward to my next visit to the shop.

I also popped into Liberty’s. It just may be the most beautiful department store I’ve ever seen. It opened 144 years ago in 1875. The all-wood interior structure is amazing. One can easily spend a couple of hours looking through the exquisite inventory of clothing, jewelry, home decor, textiles, etc. I didn’t buy anything at Liberty’s on this trip but I took a few snaps of some things that caught my eye.

White china at Liberty’s
I wanted to buy this.
The Haberdashery at Liberty’s is a cool throwback to early department stores. I enjoyed looking through all the classic sewing tools and notions.
Textiles at Liberty’s are beyond gorgeous.
