14 Best Lip Balms & Treatments

Lip balm addicts unite. There is no shortage of terrific lip balms on the market. It’s probably the beauty product I consume the most. Here are my tried and true favorite lip balms and treatments that I repurchase and recommend.
Best Lip Balms & Treatments
LA MER, The Lip Balm – I’m reluctant to recommend this due to its eye-popping price tag but I have to admit, it’s incredible. There is something magic about it. It’s rich, very moisturizing and has a matte finish which I appreciate. Lip balm addicts out there wanting a real treat can find it wherever LA MER is sold.
Clarins Lip Perfectors – I often have these tubes stashed in various handbags and pockets. There is a wide range of sheer shades. You don’t need a mirror to apply this which is great when you want to slip a lip color into your pocket and go.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream – I have used this for years. Some people don’t care for the smell. I love it. It can be used anywhere on the body to treat dry, cracked skin. I use it mostly as a lip treatment. It’s a real hero product. Available at most department stores or online.
Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Treatment – Incredibly moisturizing and I love the lemony taste. Delicious. At Ulta.
Dr. Lipp – I’ve included two nipple creams on this list. Originally created as a nipple cream for breastfeeding mothers, Dr. Lipp is deeply rich and moisturizing on the lips as well. The tube will last for months. Available at Walgreens.

NUXE Nourishing Lip Balm – Another matte finish lip balm. I keep it on my bedside table to use it at night. It can crystalize pretty quickly and that can be annoying. It’s a fantastic balm if you can deal with the changing texture. NUXE is a wonderful French pharmacy brand with a luxurious range that’s readily available online.

L’Occitane Lip Balm – L’Occitane releases different scents and flavors of their incredibly moisturizing lip balms. This jasmine and neroli one was a Christmas edition. The Cherry Blossom lip balm out now is divine.
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Petal – Higher priced than most lip balms but they do smell wonderful and have an SPF 15. They are slightly tinted and have a fresh taste. At Sephora.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask – An incredible lip mask and one of my favorite beauty

CARE:NEL Sleeping Mask – For an affordable K-Beauty dupe to the Laneige Sleeping Mask, I recommend this set of three minis for $10. The texture and results are the same. Available on Amazon.

Lansinoh Lanolin Nipple Cream – $8 for three minis is a terrific buy for this moisturizing ointment to soothe dry lips or nipples. Available on Amazon.
Best Drugstore Lip Balms

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Treatment – A very moisturizing lip balm at an affordable price. An excellent budget beauty option. Available at drugstores.

Aquaphor Healing Ointment – To treat extremely chapped lips or for prevention, Aquaphor will save your lips. Available at drugstores.

Carmex Classic Lip Balm – I buy in bulk and I buy often. I’ll admit, I am a Carmex addict and have tubes strategically placed throughout the house, car, and various handbags. Cheap and oh so satisfying. Available at drugstores.
