5 Best Liquid & Gel Cleansers
Top picks for best drugstore cleansers, an acne-fighting champion, luxury cleanser, and an organic option that I have loved for years.
I would almost say, “any cleanser will do” since most cleansers and a washcloth will adequately clean the face but there are a few that I think are exceptional. That’s not to say out of the hundreds of cleansers on the market, most don’t rate, they do. They get the job done. Neither does one have to spend very much money on a cleanser. MD Complete Restoring Cleanser – A recent discovery and drugstore brand as well. It’s creamy, foamy, hydrating, and calming to the skin.
CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser – I love this one for the quality skincare ingredients included in the formulation at a drugstore price. Hyaluronic Acid adds moisture and Ceramides protect the skin from irritants. It’s also fragrance-free.
Best for Acne
Quantum Hydrox Gentle Foaming Cleanser – I discovered this duo last year in a Canadian pharmacy. It’s difficult to get your hands on but well worth the effort. It’s a glycolic and salicylic based cleanser great for treating acne or for gentle chemical exfoliation.
Best Organic Cleanser

Best Luxury Cleanser
