Morning Fragrance-Free Skincare Routine

This entirely fragrance-free, and mostly drugstore, morning skincare routine is intensely moisturizing without being too heavy for summer weather.
Morning Skincare Routine
Step 1: Cleanse
Your Good Skin Revitalizing Foam Wash – For foamy cleanser lovers, this lightweight cleanser can be used morning or night. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or tight. It’s uber affordable and fragrance-free. $6 at Walgreens.
Step 2: Hydrate
SUKOYAKA SUHADA Urea Moisturizing Toner – I love this fragrance-free, K-Beauty hydrating toner with urea and ceramides. $22 online.
Key Ingredients:
Urea is used in skincare to treat dryness and itching such as in cases of psoriasis or dermatitis.
Ceramides protect the skin barrier and help our skin to retain moisture.
Step 3: Moisturize
Vanicream Moisturizing Skin Cream – I love this moisturizer and you will too. It’s deeply moisturizing and rich in texture. Fragrance-free and non-comedogenic meaning it will not clog pores. I use this on my face and body. I love the pump bottle. The entire Vanicream line is terrific and has been around since 1975. This moisturizer is a hero product. $13.50 at drugstores.
Key Ingredients:
Sorbitol is an excellent humectant that prevents moisture loss.
Petrolatum (petroleum jelly) locks in moisture.

Step 4: Protect
La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL SPF 50 or 60 – I rate all of La Roche-Posay sunscreens, highly. I like this one in particular on account of its high SPF and its lightweight fluid texture. It is a chemical sunscreen as opposed to a mineral one so it doesn’t leave a white cast on the skin. LRP makes tinted and un-tinted sunscreens. This version is un-tinted and fragrance-free. It wears like a dream under foundation. $30 at drugstores.
