November Favorites

I have to start with this cool reproduction of a famous Bernard Buffet painting I picked up at an estate sale last month in Connecticut.  I just love it.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir: Caudalie’s best selling spray water.  Contains Grape, Orange Blossom, Rose, Mint, and Rosemary.  I use this as a toner before moisturizer and when I need a little pick me up.  It smells amazing.  And as with most beauty waters, it can also be used to set make-up.  Available online and @Sephora.  Caudalie’s website offers free shipping on orders over $50 and 3 free samples just like Sephora.

Kerastase Ciment Thermique: I use this heat activated hair strengthener once a week.  It’s made for people who use hot tools regularly and want to reduce any damage.  It’s part of their green, Resistance line for damaged and fine hair.  Available wherever Kerastase is sold.

Korres Lip Butter in Pomegranate: Everyone loves these fabulous little lip butter pots from Korres another all natural beauty line.  I love the creamy texture and sheer tint.  Korres is sold in Sephora and Ulta.

Cargo Essential Eye Palette:  I’ve been loving this eye palette this month.  I have the color Cool Neutral which is great for a neutral, everyday look and it comes with instructions. 🙂 Available at Ulta.

Maxi Delight Bronzer by Bourjois: I love this big  bronzer that I picked up in Canada.  It looks pretty orange but goes on sheer and I absolutely love the smell!  Bourjois is a London based cosmetic company available online through ASOS.

MediaPRO Creme Contour by Ben Nye:  Most contour colors are too warm and orange for my pale skin.  I was thrilled to discover this cream contour by the theatrical makeup line, Ben Nye.  I have the shade 01-Neutral which is a cooler, ash toned contour shade that is perfect for contouring my cheek bones.  I buy my Ben Nye products here but you can also find a lot on eBay.

Skin Food Rice Mask Wash Off: Skin Food is a Korean based skincare line.  This has a lightly perfumed, milky smell and smooth texture with tiny chunks of rice.  My skin responds well to this mask and it’s a good price at $12.00.  @Amazon.
