Pharmacy: Vancouver BC

Vancouver, British Columbia

I’ve been traveling to Vancouver, BC for decades. It’s one of my favorite cities to visit. While my main objective is usually to visit friends, explore the city and surrounding area, eat good food, and hit the shops on Robson Street, a beauty run to the nearest pharmacy is always on the list.

It goes without saying that there are numerous skincare and makeup brands available in Canada that one cannot find in the US (even online). I love to explore the shelves and read the ingredients list of skincare products that are new to me. I’ve discovered some quality gems over the years. I do try to stick to my rule of only buying what I cannot find in the States. If I’m in doubt and it’s affordable, I may go ahead and pick it up but generally I focus on a few items I’ve never seen or heard of before.

Once I’ve stuffed my suitcase with new discoveries, I fill the rest of my time taking in the city and all that it has to offer.

Picked up some products to test.
NeoStrata is one of the best skincare ranges on the market in my opinion. I’ve never been disappointed with anything they produce. Filorga is up there as well.
I know I keep going on about the Quantum Hydrox range but I truly love both of these.
I thought I’d include some items from Hylamide, The Ordinary, and Niod that I’ve been testing. All three brands are part of the DECIEM umbrella which is a Canadian company. Fortunately, they are readily available online and very affordable.

The market is a smorgasbord in the summertime.
I visited the Capilano Suspension Bridge for the first time recently. It’s a beautiful place and I highly recommend it. The crowds can be tough but it’s worth it.
