February Favorites

To the Favorites! LORAC PRO Palette 2: I’ve been reaching for this palette the most this past month.  It has 8 matte shades and 8 shimmer shades for many, many looks.  Extremely hyper pigmented and buttery shadows make this one of my all time favorite palettes.  Available at Sephora and Ulta. HADA LABO TOKYO Replenishing Hydrator:  I gave this a try upon recommendation from uppiesbeads59 and have really enjoyed it.  I

Product Review: NYX Butter Gloss

NYX Butter Gloss As the name suggests, these buttery lip glosses are very moisturizing and comfortable to wear on the lips. I have the shades (L to R) Eclair, Maple Blonde, and Peach Cobbler.  I love them all and hope to grab a couple of others. Available at Ulta and Target for only $4.99 each. Gold flatware.  Takes some effort to care for but oh so beautiful. Follow Mad Chipmunk

Lip Product Addict Tag

This tag was created by Amelia Liana and Essie Button on YouTube.  I’ve been wanting to do it for a while being a lip product addict myself. 1. Favorite Balm/Treatment Crème de Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm by Dior for sure.  I’ve written about it before.  I always have one around. 2. Best Eye-Catching Red I’d have to say Fire and Ice by Revlon.  Although I prefer blueish toned reds,

August Favorites

Summer is finally over and I’m looking forward to cooler weather.  This month, I have a little bit of everything. Turkish Delight Shower Smoothie by Lush: I love the texture and light floral scent of this product.  You don’t need much so it lasts a long time.  One of my favorite Lush products. Intensive Nurturing Body Balm by Perlier: I got this in a sample box and am absolutely

Product Review: Soap and Glory

Soap and Glory is a British beauty brand and one of my favorite lines.  Their range of bath and body products are wonderful with scents to die for such as Sugar Crush.  Bath and body products are easily found at Sephora or Amazon.  Sexy Mother Pucker lip glosses and gloss sticks are awesome and carried by Sephora.  Their complete cosmetic range is harder to get ahold of in the

July Favorites

To the list – BUMBLE AND BUMBLE A Tint of Brown Hair Powder: I love this tinted dry shampoo.  It cost more than the tinted Batiste which I use regularly but it can cast a grayish residue and this does not.  Comes in various shades, available at Sephora for $36 and salons. Kerastase Initialiste Advanced Scalp & Hair Serum Concentrate: I’ve just started using this this month and it’s

April Favorites: IMATS!

My favorites this month has to be the cool stuff I bought at IMATS NYC.  I’ve been using everything here this month except for the lashes. Hakuhodo Makeup Brushes and Case: The primary reason I went to IMATS was to buy these brushes.  They are the finest brushes I’ve ever owned and I love using them!  Each one is handmade in Japan.  They’re unbelievably soft.  Expensive and worth it.

Everything’s Coming Up Roses!

I’m obsessed with all things Rose.  Here are some of my rose inspired favorites! Pink Rose Salt: I love culinary salts and always have a little collection on hand in the kitchen.  These pink rose salts have a nice flavor in addition to being absolutely beautiful.  Available online from Mountain Rose Herbs. Rosehip Seed Oil: Rosehip has been used as a facial/cosmetic oil for generations.  Mountain Rose Herbs offers this

March Favorites

I’m still in Winter mode although it’s technically Spring.  Here are some of my favorites this month. Inglot palette: I went to Inglot at the beginning of March and put together this little palette that I’ve worn most of the month.  I particular like this copper, bronze shade with a little dab of the brick red in the center of the eyelid.  The other two are a charcoal color

Product Review: Badger Balm

Badger makes all natural and organic products for the home and body.  I love their little balm tins.  This sleepy time balm is made with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Beeswax, Bergamot, Lavender, Rosemary, Ginger and Balsam Fir.  I like to rub a little on my lips and pulse points before my head hits the pillow.  Check out their other balm formulations and the entire range here.  Badger Balm
